Summer is calling, Vandals. Time to grab your friends, hit the river, and join us for another unforgettable day on the Salmon River with Mountain River Outfitters.
We’re excited to partner once again with the University of Idaho community for the annual Vandal Raft Trip. From exciting whitewater and scenic canyon views to riverside laughs and shared adventure, this is one of our favorite summer traditions.
Whether you’re a longtime Vandal or joining for the first time, this trip is all about good people, great rapids, and a full day of Idaho river fun.
What To Expect
Your day begins at the Mountain River Outfitters headquarters next to the S&S Outfitters Store in Riggins, Idaho.
Please arrive by 8:00 a.m. MST to check in and meet the group before boarding the shuttle to the launch point.
Once on the river, you’ll experience:
- Exciting Salmon River whitewater
- Beautiful canyon scenery and sandy beaches
- Experienced local guides focused on fun and safety
- A relaxed, social group atmosphere
- A full day outside with fellow Vandals
